Welcome!

Welcome to Girl Scouts of Orange County Troop 2898! We're so glad you found us!

We're a multi-level troop with girls ranging in age from Kindergarten through 9th grade. We meet in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and our members come from there and the surrounding communities.

We are SUPER-ACTIVE and BUSY! Our Daisy and Brownie troops meet every other Sunday (usually the first and third Sundays of the month) and Juniors and Cadettes meet every Sunday. Year round, you may find us working on badges, doing community service projects, or camping.

If you're interested in joining our exciting group, click on the Contact Us link and request more information. We look forward to hearing from you!

Upcoming Daisy Brownie & Parent Zoom Meeting on Sunday May 16th

Posted on May 11 2021 - 10:31pm

Greetings Daisy and Brownie Parents,

The end of the school year is coming up fast, and I know many of you will be traveling. I just wanted to touch base and see what our Littles can work on together, as well as independently, this Summer.
This is a Girl-Led Troop, and we want the Scouts to choose projects that interest them. We started with a discussion on Pet Care, and I would like to continue that, since the Daisies and Brownies wish to donate part of their 2021 cookie funds towards supplies for the Animal Shelters.

Hey troop, here’s message from Cadettes Pia, Sonal, Roma and Urja. They are working on their Silver Award project and they’d love to get your help sharing their project!

For our Silver Award, we decided to make a project that can spread awareness about mental health, body image, and self respect. We have noticed that a lot of people around the world, especially teenagers, are struggling with mental illnesses. We are very passionate about this topic because many people are going through this and we want to help them and bring awareness to others.

We are using Instagram as a platform to educate others, so check out @positivity.mental.health to see for yourself!
