Welcome!

Welcome to Girl Scouts of Orange County Troop 2898! We're so glad you found us!

We're a multi-level troop with girls ranging in age from Kindergarten through 9th grade. We meet in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and our members come from there and the surrounding communities.

We are SUPER-ACTIVE and BUSY! Our Daisy and Brownie troops meet every other Sunday (usually the first and third Sundays of the month) and Juniors and Cadettes meet every Sunday. Year round, you may find us working on badges, doing community service projects, or camping.

If you're interested in joining our exciting group, click on the Contact Us link and request more information. We look forward to hearing from you!

January 6-8: Winter Camp - "Think like an Engineer"

Posted on Dec 4 2022 - 8:38am

Registration deadline 12/18

All girls are invited to join us for our best campout of the year! We are returning to La Casita scout camp in Claremont, where we'll join BSA troops 4321 in a fun weekend of engineering activities, games, campfire, amazing food, and a whole lot of awesome times.

Everyone who comes to this camp will earn an engineering badge!

Never been camping before? No problem! The Troop provides the tents for the scouts and food for everyone, you just need to bring your overnight gear (sleeping bag, sleep mat, clothes, mess kit, etc). Daisies must bring a parent - talk to Dave if you want to register an adult for this camp!

For this camp, if you need to come up just for the day on Saturday we can make that work.  There is so much fun happening we really want everyone to participate!  You'll still register on the Troop website, but just note you want to be a "day visitor" in the notes when you register.

Because of the amount of planning involved with this camp, we really do need everyone to register no later than Sunday, 12/18.
